Mind Press's Prosperity Interview with Mickey Mikeworth

Mickey Mikeworth believes that the way you solve a problem will decide how much wealth you will hold on to and that is why she has dedicated her life to teaching a prosperity message. She has been an active educator and speaker for 26 years and specializes in the ideas and actions surrounding prosperity. Her latest project "10 Habits of Prosperously Minded People” is in full swing with a 2012 national speaking tour that is both dynamic and empowering.

Tell me about the ideas you’re sharing on prosperity:
The old wealth models are dead and our economy cannot sustain the old paradigm. It is time to think and act differently. I am here to give people some new ways to look at some old tools.

The first is to re-look at a very misunderstood word called Prosperity. As a definition means to multiply and regenerate and it is an action word. When people understand the value of changing the way the invest resources into the world we start to see dramatic changes. Your capital and resources should be invested into projects and people that can regenerate the investment back into the world. When you see it in action you have a very powerful outcome and we have ALL seen this in our lives. .

How can the everyday person start being more prosperous?
The first lesson I teach in that money only has one purpose- it buys CHOICE: it will gives everyone a choice of what they eat, how they dress, and how far they will be able to travel. Money cannot see your race, age, or gender, and it follows the same rules for everyone.

Who doesn’t like more choices?
The ways in which we spend money also GIVES choice.
Do you really want the banks to have 25% of your choices in interest on your credit cards or would you like 25% more of your cash to make different choices with?

What is the incentive for acting in these ten habits?
Most people already want to achieve these habits and most people I have met are already working on them at some level. One example is defining your core values. I see people trying to pin down that set of questions all the time but they do not know how to put those values into a realistic action plan.
I have been doing private consulting for 10 years and people that have these unique 10 prosperity based habits, assimilate the actions these habits create, and use the problem solving skills that prosperity minded people have will use resources more efficiently, get things done at a faster pace, and they have more personal and professional satisfaction.

What made you dedicate yourself to teaching prosperity as message?
I teach prosperity as an action plan not just as a message. Most people already work on many of these concepts but they are unable to put the pedal to the metal and make real headway on these concepts.
I see bits and pieces of this message all over but I have never seen a list this complete before on what are the exact habits the people have taken on and how they can put those habits into defined action steps and thought processes.

I was once a welfare mom struggling to make end meet and I know firsthand the inside despair that can come from being broke every day. I also came from a public health educational background and I got a firsthand look at what an impact education and information can make in the health of a family. Small actions can add up to BIG payoffs.

In prosperity a small seed from a few people can grow an orchard rather quickly. I encourage people to gather their network and create planned orchards instead of just thinking of themselves as a single seed.

How do people connect with you on these ideas?
I am teaching on this subject constantly live and electronically and I am touring in 2012.

DON’T SAY WE DIDN’T GIVE YOU A HEADS-UP!

Mercury Retrograde will soon be upon us again. So here is a heads-up on what will be happening. Mercury, the planet that rules Communication will be going Retrograde from August 2 and will go direct on August 26.

We always want to know in advance when this happens so we can prepare and we thought that this might help you out too.
With advance notice of this planetary change, you too can try to understand the crazy things that can happen during this time and help yourself stay sane!

Most everyone feels a Retrograde but we just don't know what is going on. Have you ever noticed that during certain times of the year things in your life just seem to be so hectic, confusing, or just not making sense? Well around and during a retrograde we can see a lot of mishaps occur, communication, electrical, mechanical and personal breakdowns also happen frequently during this time. Mercury goes Retrograde 3 times a year.

If you feel like this energy is encompassing your life during a Retrograde, we have found that the best thing that you can do for yourself is step back for a moment..stay calm and focused and then try to analyze the situation. A Retrograde period allows you to slow down and see the opportunity that we being given….the opportunity to re-do things, figure out and change the situation, and really take in the opportunity to plan something rather than react.

It is funny how many people call us during a Mercury Retrograde because they are bombarded with unusual "I can't believe this is happening" situations and "what do I do" questions!

During a retrograde, it is not a good time to enter into any serious contracts, make promises, start any new ventures or projects, cosmetic surgery or try a new haircut, buy electronics, cars and most of all...make any serious life changes! My motto during a Mercury Retrograde is, " If it is a good idea now, it will be good idea later...slow down and make a decision when you can think clearly".

Over the years we have come to embrace these Retrograde situations that are presented to me and we really do try look at them as an opportunity. Sometimes it can take the next Retrograde period for you to see things the way they were meant to be or even work out in your favor, but in the end...if you have done all of your homework...the problem works itself out...and usually for the right reasons too!

Treat boys and man as an equal as well !

This is really a new perspective about a boy/man.

I think everyone might have read abt Mom’s, Wife’s and Girl’s.

Its time to learn something about Man/Boy.

A boy/man is one of the most beautiful creations of God.

He starts compromising at very tender age. He sacrifices his chocolates for his sister.

Later he sacrifices his mischief for just a smile on his parents face.

He sacrifices his health for his wife and children by working late nights. He builds their future by taking huge loans and then repaying them for the life time. Thus he sacrifices full youth for his wife and children without any complain.

Believe me he struggles a lot but still has to hear the music (scolding) of Mother, wife and his boss.

Yet every mother, wife and boss tries to have control over him.

Finally his life ends up by compromising for others happiness. He is that creature of God who no one can compete with.

Respect every boy/man in your life. You will never know what he has sacrificed for you.

Just extend your hand when he needs it Boys Also Have Emotions. Respect them.

Benefits of Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is the use of physical means like light, heat, cold and exercise to cure diseases or injury. Physiotherapy is employed to help prevent, relieve or correct conditions that interfere with an individual’s physical ability to perform normal duties. Physiotherapy to an individual is administered by heath care experts called Physiotherapists. Physiotherapy is greatly beneficial in treating a number of ailments and disabilities. It is normally employed in treating heart and lung diseases and many kinds of paralysis and muscular weaknesses like strokes and multiple sclerosis. Physiotherapy plays important role in amputations, fractures and other injuries and in various orthopedic conditions. With the help of right physiotherapy, a disabled person may lead a constructive and creative life.

Many types of equipment, exercises and self-help tools are employed to help the disabled individual. Radiant heat lamps, electric heating pads, diathermy, hydrotherapy are used to apply heat which relieves pain, improves blood circulation and relaxes the sore muscles. Cold, when used immediately after an injury, reduces pain, hemorrhage, and swelling. Ultraviolet radiation attacks germs and helps in the healing of certain skin afflictions or disorders. Ultrasound is employed to treat inflammatory conditions of the joints, muscles, and nerves, and painful amputation stumps.

Physical workout helps to maintain and improve body function and posture. Physiotherapy increases muscle tone, strength, and also endurance level. Some workouts can be performed by the patient himself. For others, the patient may require the assistance of the therapist. Often mechanical devices like, parallel bars, exercise cycles, pulleys, weights and dumbbells are employed. Self-help tools like splints, braces, crutches and wheelchairs help disabled people carry on with their daily activities. Physiotherapists train people to use these aids and instill confidence in them so that they can perform their daily tasks without difficulty or embarrassment.

Men and women, who want to pursue a career in physiotherapy, may choose one of the three kinds of educational programs. The first one is a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy. The remaining two programs are for those people who already have a bachelor’s degree in some other discipline. Physiotherapy programs consist of courses in anatomy, clinical medicine, physiology, psychology, therapeutic exercises and deft use of physical and electrical devices.

Physiotherapists invariably are employed in places like, clinics, hospitals, schools for the handicapped, private offices, academic institutions, and home health establishments and nursing homes. In the United States, Physiotherapists have to be compulsorily licensed before they are allowed to practice.

Enzo Ferrari's - the Legend's Earliest Years

In the galaxy of motoring superstars, it can be said that no star burns brighter than Ferrari – maker of many of the world’s greatest “supercars”, motor sporting giant, bearer of perhaps the most famous emblem and marquee in the motoring world.  For more than almost ¾ of a century, Ferrari the automobile brand and branding has become an icon similar to that of a rock star of champion athlete.  Yet long before there were Ferrari classic automobiles there was Ferrari the man.  Long after his demise the legend of Enzo Ferrari still burns as brightly and vividly as ever –sentimentality, unshakable stubbornness yet focused tenacity and yet not the least a measure of mystery and almost intrigues.

It is more than clear with the beauty of hindsight that Enzo Ferrari was not born to have an ordinary life time.  From the beginning his story was spiced with drama – even in the very story of his birth.  He was actually born February 18, 1898 in Modena in northern Italy.  In the midst of a heavy winter blizzard Enzo’s father could not immediately reach the local registers office to record the new birth. Thus the infant’s arrival was not formally registered until two days later.  Even after February 20, 1898 was listed as Enzo Asnekmo Ferrari’s official birthplace.

Enzo Ferrari came to relish the ultimate individualist.  Anyone and everyone who came into contact with this ambitious young man detected both by his manner, demeanor and attitude to life and issues that this was both an ambitious, focused and dedicated young man indeed.

As Ferrari, the auto maker and motor sporting giant, this man’s reputation grew almost to rival that of the aristocracy itself. Yet his family background was relatively low key, comfortable but not of the privileged upper classes.

Ferrari was lucky to some degree that his families were able to both support and groom his coming trade.  His father being wealthy enough to be one of the first people in Modena to own an actual automobile, when such things were rare in rural Italy.  The father added a motor repair works in his metalworking business and while working and helping in these workshops Enzo acquired some very basic skills and skill sets. While still reluctant to study engineering at school, he was obviously fascinated by the automobile.  By the time he was 13 he was learning to drive.  In September 1908, when he was ten years old, his father had taken him to nearby Bologna, where they lucky enough to view Felice Nazzaro’s Fiat winning the Coppa Florio road race.

This laid the very vision and working foundation to grow and thrive on in young Enzo Ferrari’s brain.  From then on it was clear and indelibly imprinted in his brain cells that motor sport and sporting would play the greatest part in his future life and endeavors.

Price of Love - A story that moves you !

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the 4 pups and set about nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard.

As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt a tug on his overalls.

He looked down into the eyes of a little boy.

“Mister,” he said, “I want to buy one of your puppies.”

“Well,” said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, ”These puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money.”

The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer.

“I’ve got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?”

“Sure,” said the farmer.

And with that he let out a whistle. “Here, Sally!” he called.

Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran Sally followed by four little balls of fur.

The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence.

His eyes danced with delight.

As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse.

Slowly another little ball appeared, this one noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid.

Then in a somewhat awkward manner, the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up…

“I want that one,” the little boy said, pointing to the runt. The farmer knelt down at the boy’s side and said, ”Son, you don’t want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would.”

With that the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers.

In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially made shoe.

Looking back up at the farmer, he said, ”You see sir, I don’t run too well myself, and he will need someone who understands.”

With tears in his eyes, the farmer reached down and picked up the little pup.

Holding it carefully he handed it to the little boy.

“How much?” asked the little boy… “No charge,” answered the farmer,”There’s no charge for love.”

The world is full of people who need somebody, who understands them.

Spirituality in Aruba

Aruba is a magical island with blue skies and sparkling beaches.  Aruba resorts are complemented by the natural beauty of turquoise Caribbean waters, pristine beaches and stunning panoramas.
Aruba is also an island bursting with religious and spiritual experiences.   Although most residents are Catholic, the island is filled with many nationalities living harmoniously side by side with various religious beliefs. Tourists are welcome at all houses of worship.

The picturesque Chapel of Alto Vista exudes tranquility on its dramatic setting above the sea. The chapel was the island's first Roman Catholic Church, built in 1750 and reconstructed in 1953.
The small, bright yellow chapel is reached by a winding road lined with white crosses marking the stations of the cross. For local Arubans especially, it is a special place for peace and contemplation.Santa Ana is a Roman Catholic church situated in Noord, not far from the downtown Oranjestad area. When it was constructed in 1776, Santa Ana church represented the island's second most important religious meeting place (the first being Alto Vista Chapel). The church was rebuilt two times, once in 1831 and again in 1886.

A final renovation to this historical site was accomplished in 1916. Today, the church is most famous for its solid oak, hand-carved altar, a work of art accomplished in classic neo-gothic design. The alter won an exhibition award in Rome in 1870, and was later given to Santa Ana Church by the Antonius church in Scheveningen, the Netherlands.

During your next Aruba all inclusive vacation, make sure to check out the spiritual side of the island!
