A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this $20 bill?”
Hands started going up.
He said, “I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.” He proceeded to crumple the dollar bill up.
He then asked, “Who still wants it?”
Still the hands were up in the air.
“Well,” he replied, “What if I do this?” And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty. “Now who still wants it?” Still the hands went into the air.
“My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value . It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.
We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

Paul The Octopus Passes Away
Many of you may have known Paul the octopus due to his renowned skills of predicting the outcomes of football matches in the South Africa World cup.Originally born in England he was labeled a traitor by English football fans when he predicted the defeat of England at the hands of Germany in the football World cup.
Up until then, Paul had correctly predicted all of Germany's results, including a loss against Serbia in the group stages.
He died on 26th November,2010.The aquarium authorities and many of his fans were devastated by his death.
“Paul amazed the world by correctly prediciting the winners of all Germany’s World Cup clashes, and then of the final,” said Sea Life manager Stefan Porwoll.
“His success made him almost a bigger story than the World Cup itself. We had all naturally grown very fond of him and he will be sorely missed,” said Porwoll.
Paul beat the odds during the World Cup by correctly forecasting all eight games he was asked to predict, including Spain’s 1-0 win over the Netherlands in the final. The fans need not despair too much at his death, though, as the aquarium has already been grooming a successor, to be named Paul like his mentor. Paul’s body is now in cold storage while the aquarium decides “how best to mark his passing”.
“We may decide to give Paul his own small burial plot within our grounds and erect a modest permanent shrine,” said Porwoll.
“While this may seem a curious thing to do for a sea creature, Paul achieved such popularity during his short life that it may be deemed the most appropriate course of action.”

The Fight Against Dengue !
Dengue Fever is running rampant at the time in most countries especially in Pakistan .The affected toll is around 5000 now with 21 deaths and in the coming days it might become worse.Surfing on the web i found out a really simple cure for it.
Many of you may not believe it but it is PAPAYA LEAVES.
Yep ! simple as that and by the looks of it,it really does work according to some accounts.
The idea is to get two papaya leaves and squeeze them with a filter cloth.Do NOT boil or treat them with hot water or they will loose strength. One leave provides about one table spoon of Papaya juice and two table spoons should be taken for each serving everyday.
The problem how ever remains to find Papaya leaves !
It is a preventative measure and a herbal cure.I do not lay claim that it is a guaranteed remedy but it surely must be tried.

Diet Tips for Dengue Fever
Orange juice is a great source of vitamin C and Vitamin C fights against fevers and can cure running noses and increased mucus production in the mucus glands.
Porridge and baked toasts (not fried) can be had for allaying hungers in the course of the day. Biscuits with tea can be had. The tea must be herbal, with tulsi, ginger, cardamom and other such fever-reducing herbs in it.
The Following Measures Should Be Taken To Combat DENGUE.
- Clearing the neighborhood of ponds and pits.
- Covering all water containers and any objects that can trap rain water (tires, pots, etc.). Invert any used buckets and containers that can trap water, and ensure roof gutters are not clogged.
- Filling in or draining areas of stagnant water except for swimming pools and ornamental pools if they are aerated by a pump or fountain or similar.
- Use of larvicides or mosquito larvae-eating fish in waters that cannot be drained.
- In endemic mosquito areas, insist owners, employers and landlords supply screens on doors and windows and mosquito nets on beds.
- Changing water in flower pots once a week and washing them thoroughly. Do not let plants stand in trays containing water. Scrub trays weekly to get rid of any mosquito eggs.
- Fill tree holes with sand or cement and plug the tops of bamboo fences.
- Remove and destroy old tires.
- Installing mosquito screens on doors and windows and mosquito nets on beds.
- Avoid the uncontrolled use of residual and space insecticides, and the use of toxic materials. Do not allow indiscriminate use of insecticides unless possible risks of their use are clearly understood. Know what you are doing and / or what chemical is being used.
- Use mosquito repellent lotions, creams or liquids.
- Wear long sleeve clothes and keep house doors shut to avoid mosquitoes coming in.
- Do not go outside at sunrise or sun down as Dengue mosquitoes are active at these times.
Dengue fever is a flu kind of illness spread by mosquito bites. Dengue and dengue hemorrhagic fever are caused by any of the dengue family virus. This is also widely known as 'Break bone fever' due to the severe joint pain caused during the attack. Dengue can be diagnosed by blood test. The infected person as such cannot spread the infection but can be a source to spread it.
Dengue hemorrhagic fever is often complicated and severe. This rather can be termed as a complication dengue fever. Those bitten by the mosquito can get dengue fever and those already infected once if infected again are prone to higher risk of getting dengue hemorrhagic fever.
Dengue is spread by the bite of an 'Ades' Mosquito. This mosquito bites the infected person and then bites someone else who is not affected thus transmitting the infection. These mosquitoes are active during the day time and spread the infection during day time. These mosquitoes live among human beings and breed in discarded tyres, flower pots, water stores etc.
Symptoms For Dengue Fever:
Dengue starts with chills, headache, pain upon moving the eyes, and low backache. Painful aching in the legs and joints occurs during the first hours of illness. The temperature rises quickly as high as 104 F (40 C), with relative low heart rate and low blood pressure (hypotension). The eyes become reddened. A flushing or pale pink rash comes over the face and then disappears. The glands (lymph nodes) in the neck and groin are often swollen.

Transparency International's - Global Perception Index
Who's leading the world in corruption?.This can be seen clearly by the big colorful map down below.I know it seems pretty lemony and red but well. The lemony area are of those of the clean guys and well the red ones are those who are not. This year how ever 178 countries took part and Somalia won by an amazing 1.1,followed by Myanmar and then Afghanistan.
and the cleanest blokes on the map are Denmark,New zealand and Singapore each (9.3).
As a personal analysis corruption is most high in war torn areas of the world.Somalia having ethnic and drug lord problems.Myanmar ( I dont know about them) and finally Afghanistan , with Taliban and rest of the world fighting for whats seems to be a never ending war.
Courtesy: nomad4ever.com
Iraq is the runner up with the Americans leaving some where in 2011.Here too war is dominant.Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan too are drenched in civil war. With the rebel party killing many parliamentarians earlier this year.To sum up North America partly Europe and Australia are the cleanest areas where corruption is concerned on the planet but Asia,Africa and South America....Err well they have to improve...alot !
This map was drawn in accordance to 13 independent surveys .
But the fact remains there is 10 % chance of error.
